Scott-Barrett in the frame for C&R chief exec job
Former FD of ABN Amro mooted as possible contender for top job at shopping centre giant after chief exec's boardroom bust-up
Hugh Scott-Barrett has been named as one of the leading candidates to become
chief executive of a retail park giant after a boardroom clash.
Capital & Regional’s CEO Martin Barber is believed to be on his way out
after a bitter dispute with the rest of board, triggering the search for a
replacement.
Scott-Barrett, a former finance director of ABN Amro, is thought to be one of
the figures on the shortlist for the job,
The
Times reported.
The board went on the offensive against Barber because C&R’s share price
has plummeted by almost 70% since last spring.
