Sage goes live with accounts online

Sage releases hosted accounts software with Sage 50 Accounts Professional Online launch

Software giant
Sage
today launched its first hosted accounts software product with
the release of Sage 50 Accounts Professional Online.

The solution, which will cost £900 per annum, follows calls from over a third
of Sage’s customer base for accounts online. Customers wanted access to Line 50
over the Internet, as well as have shared access with their accountant, a
feature that will be provided by the new launch.

Sage has promised that this online launch will be expanded further in line
with Sage’s commitment to offer its customers more choice and flexibility
regarding the licensing and provisioning of its software products.

‘We believe in listening to our customers and they are telling us that they
would like to see the benefits that hosted accounting software can bring to
their practices and their clients,’ said Greg Ford,
managing director of the Sage accountants division.
