21 FDs left their jobs this year compared to 6 in 2007-2008 research finds
The number of FTSE100 FDs changing jobs in the last 12 months has shot up
compared to previous years as the financial turmoil wreaked havoc at the UK’s
leading plcs.
In 2008-09, 21 FDs left their jobs compared to 6 in 2007-2008, according to
research compiled by the
Reward
Technology Forum.
Remuneration consultant Peter Newhouse, said: “These are turbulent times for
the FTSE 100 and good finance directors, the ones with mobile skills across
industries, are in demand.
“It’s no surprise that staff turnover in this key position has increased
dramatically.”
