Accountant named chairman of Coventry stadium
Former Barclays FD appointed chairman of Coventry FC stadium
Arena Coventry, the company which manages the Ricoh Arena – the football
stadium used by Coventry Football Club – has appointed accountant David Allvey
as its new chairman.
Allvey is a distinguished accountant having been the group finance director
of Barclays Bank plc and BAT Industries as well as chief operating officer of
Zurich Financial Services and a non-executive director of McKechnie.
In addition, he was a member of the UK Accounting Standards Board for ten
years and is currently a non-executive director of Costain Group, Intertek, My
Travel Group and William Hill.
He has replaced Andrew Young.
