Department store operator TJ Hughes has appointed Andrew Goody, former senior manager at KPMG, as finance director. Goody has been acting as interim finance director since March 2001, when Anthony Potter resigned following an overstatement in the valuation of stock. The ACCA-qualified accountant was chosen for his significant expertise and his appointment takes effect as of 30 June.
