James Muirhead wins finance chief's position at espresso bar chain, the company announces this morning

Republic has selected James Muirhead to be its new FD.
The AIM-quoted company said that Muirhead would be appointed as finance
director with effect from 21 September, and that it expected he would be
admitted to the board by Christmas 2007.
Muirhead qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in
1998 and has worked with a number of high profile companies, including Novus
Leisure, the operator of the Tiger Tiger nightclub brand, and Esporta, operator
of the Health Club chain.
Coffee Republic’s chief exec Steven Bartlett said: ‘I am delighted that James
has decided to join Coffee Republic and look forward to the experience he can
bring us from his time working in high-growth, multi-site, branded businesses.
He is joining at an exciting and challenging time in the company’s history and I
wish him luck in this time with us.’
