Ernst & Young has signed up as a global bronze sponsor of the Gay Games,
which will take place in Chicago from 15 – 22 July and which will feature 12,000
participants from more than 70 countries.
180 Ernst & Young employee volunteers will be trained to work in shifts
during the week-long event.
The firm has also sponsored suites at both the Opening and Closing
John Ferraro, vice chair of client services at Ernst & Young LLP, said
the firm was dedicated to ‘providing a culture of inclusiveness’.
‘Sponsoring the Gay Games underscores our commitment to a diverse workforce
and a work environment that fosters respect for everyone,’ Ferraro said.
