Accountancy Age Top 50 League Table

In return for the protection offered by limited liability partnerships accountants are going to have to become used to publishing plc-style accounts. In spite of this development, a number of firms preferred to keep details of their fee income to themselves when surveyed for the 1998 Accountancy Age Top 50.

Where firms refused to provide the necessary information, we turned to other published sources or applied an inflation factor to our previous survey. However, more than two-thirds of the firms questioned were happy to co-operate, enabling Accountancy Age to compile an important guide for decision-makers seeking professional financial advice and services.
