Systems Union axes reseller

Systems Union has cancelled its channel partner agreement with Thompson Systems, suggesting the reseller had broken the terms of the deal.

It is understood the split occured after the reseller began to market its own product in direct competition to Systems Union’s own offering – SunSystems.

Paul Coleman, CEO of Systems Union, said: ‘Thompson had been a partner for a number of years. However, we feel we had valid reasons for ending our agreement. They put us in an unacceptable position.’

Coleman would not be drawn on how much turnover Thompson brought the company, but the reseller has agreed to the termination of the agreement.
