Ex-News Intl finance chief joins board of GB Group
CIMA accountant named as a non-executive director
The board of data services business GB
Group has appointed Dick Linford – former finance chief at both of
News International and
BSkyB as a non-executive director.
Linford, 54, was CFO at News International for 11 years, and besides his
BSkyB role he has also been a director of the Wireless Group and British Sky
Broadcasting Group.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and also
holds an MBA from Boston University.
The announcement was made as GB Group revealed interim results for the six
months ending September 2006, which showed that group revenues increased by 18%
to £7m.
