Ex-Andersen boss opens new office

Joe Berardino, the former chief executive of collapsed Big Five firm, Andersen, has opened what he describes as a 'transitional' office to help coordinate his consulting and speaking engagements.

Based in New York, Berardino & Associates, will be helping new businesses. ‘I’m looking into some entrepreneurial things and also want to give back to the profession,’ he said.

Berardino quit as the CEO of Andersen in March 2002 following the Enron debacle.
