Lawyers for the regents of the University of California, the court-appointed plaintiff of the case, named former Andersen UK managing partner Philip Randall, now head of global operations, on the action, as was another British national, Roman McAlindon, who is managing partner for central Europe, the Middle-East, India and Africa.
Andersen in the UK appeared baffled with the revelations, along with the fact that the UK firm has been named on the action.
Meanwhile, the US partner accused of shredding documents in the London office was also named as Michael Jones.
A spokesman for Andersen, said: ‘All the partners named today are either from Houston, Chicago or global.’
