CRH appoints Culpepper as finance chief

Culpepper builds on his career at CRH with new finance role

International building materials business CRH has appointed Glenn Culpepper
as group finance director designate.

Culpepper takes over from Myles Lee, who moves up to group chief executive at
the end of 2008.

US citizen Culpepper joined CRH in 1989, and has served as its CFO of
Americas Materials Division since 1995.

He takes up his new role in Dublin in 2009.
