Serial non-executive director Lady Barbara Thomas Judge lands top PA Consulting role
PA Consulting has appointed Lady Barbara Thomas Judge as a non-executive
director with effect from December.
Lady Judge holds a series of senior positions including non-executive
chairmanship of the UK Atomic Energy Authority where she is leading the nuclear
decommissioning programme and overseeing the transformation of UKAEA as it
prepares to compete with BNFL and other rivals.
She is also deputy chairman of Friends Provident and the Financial Reporting
Council, and senior independent director of Quintain Estates and Development.
She has held senior positions across a range of industries including
executive director of Samuel Montagu, chairman of food specialist company
Whitworths, executive director at News International, and was one of the first
women to be appointed as commissioner for the Securities and Exchange
Commission.
Lady Judge said: ‘PA is embarking on an aggressive growth agenda and has a
clear vision for building on its market success. I look forward to working with
the rest of the board to deliver the growth agenda.’
