Vote for your personality of the year

The nominees for this year's Accountancy Age Personality of the Year award are published this week with those who emerged head and shoulders above the rest after the collapse of Andersen dominating the selection.

Nominees are Deloitte & Touche senior partner John Connolly who sealed the merger with Andersen; US Senator Paul Sarbanes, responsible for corporate governance reform that has hit the UK; Mike Rake, KPMG senior partner who chose to protect his firm by backing away from a deal with Andersen; Peter Wyman, president of the ICAEW, who has almost single handedly struggled to rebuild confidence in the profession, and John Ormerod, senior partner at Andersen who may just have secured a future for thousands of Andersen staff.

Our readers will choose the Personality of the Year, and the result will be announced during a gala dinner at the Natural History Museum on 6 November.
