Deloittes net business solutions breakthrough
Deloitte & Touche and City law firm Berwin Leighton are set to become the first joint-venture to offer business solutions over the internet.
The two parties joined forces to invest £5m in the venture which will focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
Launched in October, Deloittes claims that ‘Be Professional’ will guide users through the regulatory maze of e-trading by providing access to a special web-based tax and legal guidance system at [email protected]
Richard Punt, head of e-business at Deloitte & Touche, said: ‘The key feature of our market testing is that SMEs and start-up businesses no longer just want information via the web. They want solutions to their business issues. Our services will provide them with access to interactive guidance, smart document creation and on-line accounting services.’
