Companies House loses ten accounts a month, it has said in a Freedom of
Information Act response.
The Daily Telegraph had asked how many accounts had been mislain.
Companies House is only aware of those lost accounts that it pursues mistakenly
for late filing penalties, and the actual figure could be higher.
Missing documents are mis-filed, lost by Royal Mail, or never sent, Companies
House said. It receives 1.43 million accounts each year.
