Maconomy e-commerce

European software house Maconomy now offers Web Shop (above), an e-commerce suite that links an online catalogue and ordering system to Maconomy’s financial management software.

Sage unveils new program Newcastle-based Sage Software has introduced Contact Manager for Windows, a #150 program that links to its Line 50 accounts package. It allows functions such as order and invoice processing to be carried out without leaving the Contact Manager record.

PS Industry Group goes to Lynx Having been pipped by Sage in its bid to acquire accounting software house Tetra, the Lynx Group has acquired Milton Keynes-based SAP reseller PS Industry Group. The #1.4m cash acquisition was made through Lynx’s accounting systems house Apex Computers.

Andersens makes Choice Arthur Andersen has developed an online package for managing flexible employee benefits regimes. Called Choice!, it lets employees select benefits that suit their needs and feeds the information through to administrative and payroll systems.
