MCR plans to stop staff working on 24 December unless buyer is found
Borders staff will lose their jobs on Christmas Eve unless a buyer can be
found for the business.
Administrators from
MCR
warned that unless advanced talks in the business progressed into a sale, shops
would close on 22 December and 1,100 staff would stop working on 24 December,
reported the
BBC.
Although talking to a number of potnetial buyers, a deal had yet to be
finalised.
