Laura Ashley CFO steps down

Rebecca Navarednam resigns as CFO and company secretary as of 30 September as part of management reshuffle

Laura Ashley’s finance boss is to step down within days, the fashion and
furnishing retailer has announced.

Rebecca Navarednam will resign as CFO and company secretary as of 30
September as part of a sweeping management reshuffle.

The changes see Seán Anglim come in as Laura Ashley’s new CFO and Kien Mun Ho
appointed as company secretary and group financial controller with effect from 1
October 2009.

The company also brought in Nick Kaloyirou and Clive Barrett as joint chief
operating officers with effect from 1 October 2009.

said
in a statement
: “The company announces the resignation of Ms Navarednam is
leaving for personal reasons. The company would like to take this opportunity to
thank Ms Navarednam for her past contribution to the company.”
