ICAS calls up McKillop
Murdoch McKillop has been nominated Junior Vice-President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
He will take up the post in April 2001 at the institute’s AGM and will be set to become President of the Institute in April 2003.
McKillop is the senior corporate restructuring partner at Arthur Andersen, based in London, where he was one of the joint administrators of the Maxwell private companies.
McKillop came to prominence while working on the Leyland DAF and Ferranti collapses.
He is also a past president of the Society of Practitioners of Insolvency, now known as the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
