KPMG joins in Canadian tax incentive scheme
KPMG will work with the Canadian Plastics Industry Association to prepare a survey in a bid to improve Canada’s scientific tax incentive programme
The Canadian Plastics Industry
Association (CPIA) has enlisted the Canadian
KPMG office to prepare a
short survey as part of the CPIA’s submissions to a Department of Finance
initiative aimed to improve Canada’s scientific research and experimental
development tax incentive programme.
The CPIA sees the programme as vital to business in Canada and intends to
involve as many companies as possible to help the Department of Finance develop
the scheme.
In addition to forwarding the survey results to the Department of Finance,
the information will also be shared with the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition to
help formulate a sector-wide response.
KPMG’s analysis of the survey responses will be provided to the Department of
Finance by November 30.
