PC company Elonex enters administration, and Deloitte partners attempt to stabilise business

Deloitte partners have been appointed administrators at longstanding PC
manufacturer Elonex.

Administrators Neville Kahn and Nick Edwards are attempting to stabilise the
business in order for it to continue trading, although 28 employees have been
made redundant – leaving 48 staff.

Kahn said that the company, which was formed in 1986, had a ‘strong customer
base’ and was ‘hopeful’ of the sale of the business as a going concern.
