Birch to lead reorganisation practice in northeast
Trevor Birch, the former chief executive of Leeds United, is to succeedAngus Martin as head of reorganisation services for Big Four firm Deloitte in the northeast.

Birch, who was head of Ernst & Young’s northern restructuring practice before making a name for himself in the football world, said: ‘I am very much looking forward to developing the Yorkshire and northeast practice, building on the excellent foundation laid by Angus.
‘The rescue culture is firmly embedded in the restructuring world and I hope to build on the experience gained from working on the other side of the boardroom table.’
Martin, who spent 10 years as a partner in Leeds, will now establish a new reorganisation services region for the firm in the southeast. He will be based in Deloitte’s Reading office and be responsible for developing reorganisation services along the Thames Valley.
