Former Filtrona FD takes up role at packaging and office products group DS Smith
Packaging and office products group DS Smith has appointed Steve Dryden as
its new finance director.
The FTSE 250 group announced the move this morning in a stock
exchange
statement.
Dryden, 39, was formerly finance director of Filtrona which demerged from
Bunzl in 2005. He began his career at Price Waterhouse and has also held various
finance roles at Rolls-Royce.
Tony Thorne, group chief executive of DS Smith, said: ‘I am delighted that
Steve will be joining us as group finance director. His financial capability
combined with his operational experience will be valuable to us in continuing
the progress of the group.’
Dryden said: ‘I greatly look forward to working with Tony Thorne and his team
on the further development of DS Smith.’
