Smallest of the Big Four trumps two of its bigger rivals on brand strength
It may be the smallest of the
Big Four, but
Ernst & Young has a stronger brand name,
than both Deloitte and KPMG, according to the
Business Superbrands
Council (BSC).
The firm was ranked the second best accountancy brand in the UK by the BSC.
Overall, E&Y, ranked 29th on a ranking of the UK’s top 500 business
brands beating Deloitte which managed just 50th spot and KPMG (ranked 42nd), to
come just behind PwC.
Grant Thornton and BDO Stoy Hayward achieved rankings of 280 and 383
effectively.
The BBC topped the Business Superbrands Council ranking, followed by
Microsoft and British Airways. Brands were rated according to quality,
reliability and distinctiveness within their sector.
