Taking Stock - CIMA internet site's empty offering.

While the world wags its fingers at the promises and airy nothings from the boo.com end of the online world you would think that those business savvy accountants at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants would lead from the front with a bit of substance. Click on to www.cima.org.uk and go to the business resources section – the meat and bones for management accountants out there – and the following fine words will greet you. ‘Here you will find a wide range of information and services, showing the full spectrum of what CIMA can offer you.’ And what is there? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. A site as empty as the Kalahari desert. All part of a cunning CIMA plan for 2001?
