New national head of tax at E&Y
Internal apppointment to replace Aidan O'Carroll
Paul Davies has been appointed as Ernst & Young’s national head of tax
from 1 July 2006, succeeding Aidan O’Carroll, who has held the role since 2002.
Davies was previously head of tax and managing partner for E&Y’s
industrial and commercial office.
He will also head up tax for the firm in Northern Europe, Middle East, India
and Africa reporting to Mark Otty.
O’Carroll has been appointed as the firm’s global tax leader for client
service and accounts and will be responsible for the global tax approach on E
&Y’s major clients and will be based in London.
