Murray will head a team of consultants and programmers working towards year 2000 compliance for the company’s clients. Murray was previously Rand’s insurance services branch manager.

Strategem has expanded with the recruitment of three more staff members.

At Towers Perrin, Worrall will join the financial services team within the HR department.

DA Consulting has appointed Piero Granelli as president of its Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Granelli, who moves from Johannesburg where he was president of the company’s South African operation, will manage all aspects of DA’s European business. Bridget Litchfield has been elected president of the Board of the Association of Outplacement Consulting Firms-Europe. Litchfield, who is MD of human resource services Focus and CEPEC, is also chairperson of the UK chapter of the Association.

In our moves page last month we said that the Association for Project Management had appointed Alan Harpham as its part-time chairman. Unfortunately, this was a miss-print. Harpham has, in fact, been appointed part-time chairman for the APM Group, which is the commercial arm of the Association for Project Management. We apologise for any inconvenience that this error may have caused.
