Taking Stock – I’ll have a pea please Peter.

Straight talking Oldham accountant Peter Robinson has decided that enough is enough and it’s time for some plain English to tackle business people’s perception of the profession. His campaign is straightforwardly named Plain English Accountancy, but his mission is not to wash out lazy management babble from accountants’ mouths. Rather, he wants to teach small businessmen how to run a start-up and how accountants can help a business flourish. He says that his PEA campaign will revolutionise the way small businesses do their accounting – although he doesn’t say whether following his advice is as easy as shelling PEAs.
