ACCPAC acquires SBT Accounting

ACCPAC International - a division of Computer Associates - has today continued its expansion programme after it announced plans to acquire Software Business Technologies, also known as SBT Accounting Systems, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal represents the second acquisition by ACCPAC in a matter of weeks, while the California-based accounting and SME e-business software solutions provider is expected to continue with its takeover programme over the summer.

Last month the company acquired South Wycombe-based software provider LA Technology for an undisclosed amount.

‘For more than 20 years, ACCPAC and SBT have been providing cutting-edge solutions to a diverse client base,’ said ACCPAC president and CEO David Hood.

‘This union will bring together distinctive yet complementary technologies, creating synergies and benefits for our respective customers, resellers, integration partners and employees’.
