Consultancy - Contract wins
Accounting procurement solutions provider CODA has signed its biggest ever global services contract - worth in the region of £2m.
The deal, signed with business internet solutions VIA NET.WORKS, will see CODA provide functionality and consultancy to unify its finances worldwide. CODA’s service team will develop CODA Financials with VIA’s in-house operational systems including billing, sales order processing and campaign management.
– Production at BMW’s new engine production plant is expected to increase from 20 to 600 units after the German motor giant installed the fully integrated SAP solution. The solution will help workers at all levels from parts suppliers to workers on the floor at the Birmingham plant collaborate in a more efficient way. Improved company business processes, including supply chain and quality management will also be provided.
– Voice and data solutions provider Cable & Wireless ML Integration has provided a £120,000 multimedia call centre solution to Inkfish. C&W will supply the call centre operator with an Avaya Definity system, which will handle calls and expand its operations.
– Carlsberg-Tetley, one of the largest brewers in the UK is set to implement IXOS-eCONtext and IXOS-eCON Doculink to manage the archiving and retrieval of business documents. The first phase of integration will include a single point of access to business documents for over 1,000 employees.
– eGain Communications has announced that McAfee has deployed eGain software to speed and improve online customer service on its www.mcafee.com website. Adding to its use of eGain Mail for high volume email management, McAfee unveiled ‘Lori’, a virtual web site assistant powered by eGain. Lori – a natural language robot – will act as McAfee.com’s first point of contact for online customers.
