Land gets Shell job
Chairman of E&Y to become a non-exec at Shell
Nick Land, current chairman of Ernst & Young, has been appointed a
non-executive director of Shell.
The proposed appointment will take effect from July 1, when Land steps down
as chairman of E&Y.
E&Y has not traditionally had a relationship with Shell, with PwC its
auditors, and E&Y auditing rival BP. Shell said today that E&Y did carry
out some non-audit work for them.
