Punch Taverns recruits Cable &Wireless FD

Cable & Wireless FD Tony Rice joins Punch Taverns as a non-exec

Cable & Wireless FD Tony Rice has joined Punch Taverns as a
non-executive.

Rice, who also serves as joint-MD of the telco, joins Punch at a time when
the company has reportedly lined up a bid for rival Mitchells & Butlers.

Ian Wilson, an experienced Australian lawyer and banker, also joins as a
non-executive.

‘Tony and Ian bring with them a wide range of corporate expertise which will
further benefit Punch as we take the group forward to the next stage of its
development,’ said Punch chairman Peter Cawdron.
