Non-compliance hidden
PwC research has found that a ?significant minority? of listed companies hide their lack of compliance with the code for best practice in corporate governance.
However, the 60-company survey recently released by the firm, found many companies disclose more information than they need to.
?A significant minority are attempting to mask non-compliance with the code?s provisions. This will probably turn out to be self defeating,? said the report.
