Deloitte appoints insurance industry insider

New head of insurance tax team

Deloitte has poached leading insurance industry adviser Anne Hamilton from
PricewaterhouseCoopers to advise UK and global insurance companies.

Hamilton spent 18 years as a partner at PwC. She will head up Deloitte’s
insurance industry division, which currently comprises five partners.

She will spearhead the firm’s efforts to help insurance companies implement
Solvency II, which could require some companies to restructure their balance
sheets.
