Andreasen is currently suspended following her claims that the European Commission’s £63bn budget was out of control and its accounting systems open to fraud, a charge vehemently refuted by the EC.
She blamed her election failure on the Commission’s refusal to allow her entry into buildings that she claimed limited her exposure, and said pressure had been put on staff not to side with her allies, according to reports.
This was denied by the EC, who said no pressure was put on anyone.
Now Andreasen has switched her attention to the European parliament where she might stand as a UK Conservative candidate.
