Cisco's Brazil office faces tax probe

Tax probe for Cisco's Brazil office: $500m of equipment allegedly imported without paying duties

The Brazilian HQ of Cisco Systems has been raided as part of a tax evasion
investigation, according to reports.

As much as $500m (£246m) of equipment might have been imported without paying
the correct duties over the last five years.

A spokesman for the firm said it was fully cooperating, and establishing what
had happened in the office, reported the
BBC.
