Andersen Consulting names new partners

Andersen Consulting has named 1,288 new partners to the firm, effective from 1 September. The addition of these new partners will bring the Andersen Consulting partnership around the world to approximately 2,600 - almost doubling the number of partners in most parts of the world. The firm also announced the appointment of 403 associate partners.

Of the new partners, 631 are based in the Americas, 526 in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa and 131 in the Asia/Pacific region. 144 new partners and 39 associate partners were named in UK. “We are happy to recognise our high performing employees, and allow them to achieve partnership earlier in their careers,” said managing partner and CEO Joe Forehand. “These new partners are proven leaders, and have played a vital role in developing our pre-eminent capabilities for the new economy.”
