    Leeds FC set to gain new FD

    Former long-serving Chelsea Football Club FD Yvonne Todd is believed to have joined the Bates revolution at Leeds United.

    Link: Reprieve for Leeds as Revenue defers

    Todd will join former Chelsea lawyer Mark Taylor at the Club, while only Peter Lorimer remains from the board that was formed under former chairman Gerald Krasner, according to media reports.

    Bates took over Leeds last week from Krasner for a figure understood to be close to £10m. A consortium led by Yorkshire businessman Norman Stubbs was also in the frame to take over the debt-ridden club.

    Leeds still has £25m of debts hanging over it, and recently deferred a payment to the Revenue and Customs.
