Profession’s watchdog may investigate Robson Rhodes

Mid-tier firm RSM Robson Rhodes, the former auditor of software group iSoft,
is facing a possible investigation by the Accountancy Investigation and
Discipline Board,

The Times reported Cameron Scott, executive counsel of the AIDB, as
saying the watchdog would decide within weeks whether to investigate the actions
of the firm.
This follows the Financial Services Authority launching a formal investigation
into accounting irregularities at the IT contractor.

RSM Robson Rhodes was dropped by iSoft in 2005 and replaced by Deloitte.

It declined to comment yesterday.
