New FD climbs aboard Wagonlit
Rob Brett has joined business travel management company Carlson Wagonlit Travel as finance director.
After qualifying with KPMG in 1991, Brett joined the travel industry and worked at Thomas Cook for nine years.
During his time there, Brett secured a succession of internal promotions to roles including financial controller for foreign exchange (Belgium), head of operations for accounting, general manager of wholesale foreign exchange and finally as corporate finance manager.
Carlson Wagonlit Travel operates from more than 3,000 locations in 141 countries and generates more than $11bn of sales. The company is co-owned by Paris-based Accor Group and Minneapolis-based Carlson Companies.
