It seems the expense for Accenture – formerly Andersen Consulting – currently in the midst of one of the most costly rebranding exercises in history, continues to escalate.
While the cost of rebranding will hit #200m plus, another expense has yet to be added.
If you remember, the company spent three months searching for its new brand, before the winning nomination was chosen. The chap responsible was Kim Petersen, a business consultant working for Accenture in Norway.
And as a reward it is understood he was flown with his wife to Melbourne to watch the Accenture Match Play Golf Championship.
Meanwhile, accommodation was a suitably expensive hotel with food and drink lavished on the couple. TS also trusts they entered the spirit of things by regularly emptying the mini-bar.
