Kroll Buchler Phillips partner Fraser Gray
has been appointed administrative receiver of Ingenco, after the energy company succumbed to the depressed UK energy sector and the highly specialised nature of its activities. The East Kilbride-based company employs 250 people and was bought out from Scottish Power in June 2000.
Numerica partners Jonathan Birch and Chris Laughton have put together a company voluntary arrangement for Antal International. The recruitment agency, which went into administration in May, went down with debts between £1m and £2m suffering from the effects of the downturn in the world economy.
KPMG partners Blair Nimmo and Gary Fraser have been appointed joint receivers to Peebles Electrical Machines. The Fife-based business, which manufactures and services power generating equipment, had a turnover of £14m in 2002.
