Big Four firm launches new executive turnaround team
KPMG has launched a new turnaround executive team as part of its
restructuring practice.
The team will be headed by two business recovery experts with first hand
experience of rescuing struggling businesses
John Darlington, who helped turnaround travel business MyTravel, and Chris
Howell, who restructured operations at First Leisure and led the company to a
sale, will head the new executive team.
Both will begin their new roles this week.
Mick McLoughlin, head of global restructuring and recovery at KPMG said:
‘Market attitudes to corporate recovery have changed significantly in recent
years and increasingly there is a need for different solutions to company
problems.’
