Vantis has sealed a deal with Brewer Higgins to buy the non-audit business
Vantis,
the professional services and accountancy group, has signed a deal to acquire
the non-audit business
Brewer Higgins, an
established general practice firm based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
The cost of the acquisition will be £401,000 in cash and the balance,
anticipated at £727,000, payable over the next three years in cash, depending
on the performance and growth expectation of Brewer Higgins over that period.
Brewer Higgins’ unaudited profit and loss account shows the firm generated
profits attributable to partners of about £290,000, on turnover of about
£770,000, in the year ended 31 March 2007.
Vantis said the acquisition had enhancing synergies, extending Vantis’
regional presence in the Thames Valley and providing Brewer Higgins’ clients
access to a broader and more specialist range of services.
