BDO nabs funds partner from Smith & Williamson

BDO has secured the head of Smith & Williamson’s financial services and markets group as funds partner

has secured Neil Fung-On, former head of Smith &
Williamson’s financial services & markets group, as its investment
management and funds partner in the firm’s financial services group.

Fung-On will be in charge of the investment management and funds sub-sector,
the Financial Times reports.

This will cover onshore and offshore investment funds, hedge funds, private
equity and the regulated firms which manage these vehicles.

‘I look forward to growing the firm’s offering in the investment management
and funds arena,’ Fung-On said.
