E&Y announces top-level change

Ernst & Young this week announced the appointment of a new top-level management team.

The appointments, announced by chairman Philip Laskawy, accompanied the formation of the new organisation to head up the global firm’s operations.

John F Ferraro, Patrick Gounelle, Jean-Charles Raufast and Lewis A Ting were all made global managing partners and will have responsibility for managing the firm’s area operations.

Speaking about the appointments, Laskawy said: ‘These changes will enable Ernst & Young to respond to the global needs of clients with greater speed and flexibility – and provide clients with the value and confidence they need to move forward successfully in the mew millennium.’
