    Advertising man rescues Non-League Paper

    Chris Ingram, the former chairman and founder of Tempus (now part of WPP), has bought weekly football newspaper, the Non-League Paper, from administrators, according to reports.

    Ingram bought the Non-League Paper from administrators at accounting firm Hurst, Morrison and Thomson, according to reports in the FT

    Gareth Roberts and Paul Ellison from HMT were appointed as administrators to Non-League Media plc and its trading subsidiaries – The Non-League Paper Limited, Non-League Club Directory Limited, Non-League Magazine Limited and She Kicks – on 25 June this year.

    The three month administration order was aimed at giving the company time to secure funding to satisfy outstanding creditors in full and to raise additional working capital.
