Accounting body signs global partnership agreement
The ACCA will offer Securities & Investment Institute (SII) exams to its
members following the signing of a global partnership agreement.
At the same time the SII will offer advantageous terms for ACCA members to
also become SII members.
This follows the signing of a global agreement between the two organisations
that will see the two organisations work together to support nearly 130,000
finance professionals.
The SII sets professional standards for the securities and investment
industry and has over 17,000 members.
ACCA chief executive Allen Blewitt said the two organisations had ‘much in
common, including a commitment to promoting the highest ethical standards in the
financial profession and to working in the public interest at all times’.
